ENTERTAINMENT APPLIANCES: 1. TELEVISION: Since your TV has no mechanical parts there is no need for servicing yourself. If it gives you any trouble, only then you need to repair it. Keep the remote out of reach of children. Remove the antenna / cable plugs when there is lighting (rainy season). It is not essential to use a stabilizer for a color TV. Clean only the body by light detergent or cleaning liquid periodically. 2. MUSIC SYSTEMS: Service your Tape Recorders, CDs, VCDs, Stereo Decks etc., because it has mechanical parts. Use the system at least once in a week. Do not put any fungus-infected cassette or a damaged one. Clean the audio head with CTC APPLIED Cotton cloth after using 6 to 8 cassettes. Try to make forward and rewind the cassette before you play. Remove batteries when not in use. Do not connect extra speakers as you wish, connect only correct impedance speaker. Change belts and pinch rollers once in 6 months. 3. CD, MP3, VCD, DVD SYSTEM: Service CD/VCD once in 6 to 8 months. Change the belt if needed. Clean the "eye" by cotton cloth periodically. Do not use any cleaning acid on the eye. Use lens-cleaning CDs. Do not use scratched or damaged CDs. 4. VCR-VCP: Service your VCR/VCP at-least once in a year. Do not keep it inside your cupboard. Always keep the VCR/VCP in "on" position. Try to make it play at-least 60 minutes in a fortnight. If you keep it idle the rubber parts may get melted and the metal parts may get rusted. It is always better to connect the cable through the VCR. 5. AUDIO/VIDEO CASSETTES (STORAGE): Do not keep the cassettes in a closed rack. Stag it vertically in an air circulated rack. Do not keep it like books. Remove fungus from the video cassettes before you play as it may damage the video head. 6. VIDEO GAMES: Ask your children to use it carefully. Do not mishandle the hand units. Do not pull the wires as you wish but make it extra length initially itself.

OFFICE EQUIPMENTS: 1. COMPUTER: Computer is highly sensitive equipment. It works with digital memorized ICs. You need to service it. Use good quality stabilizer. Keep it in a dust free room. Monitors are just like TV only. 2. TELEPHONE AND CELL PHONE: There are no mechanical parts. Use the dial buttons gently. Do not throw the receiver on the holder in a fit of anger. Charge periodically the handset of your cordless. Remove the batteries of your hand set when not in use for a long time. 3. EMERGENCY LIGHT: Always keep the emergency light on charging mode. The batteries will get charged automatically when needed. Do not wait for the batteries to get discharged. 4. AIR CONDITIONER: Service your A/C at-least once in 4 months. Clean the front and back grill periodically. Use only good quality stabilizers. 5. AIR COOLERS: Clean the water coolers fortnightly. Change water and clean the tub at-least once in 15 days. Clean the windows periodically.

KITCHEN APPLIANCES: 1. MICROWAVE OWEN: Clean the microwave after every use. Clean the internal parts at-least once in a month. Connect the plug to a-3 pin socket with proper earth. 2. CLEAN YOUR MIXIE / FOOD PROCESSORS: Do not over load. Use appropriate jar. Do not pour more water for wet items. Change the rubber bush and metal bush when it starts leaking. Do not wash the mixie body, as water may seep in. Repair it when the overload button works repeatedly. Keep the button parts of a jar clean and keep upside down after washing. Verify the rotation of blades by hand before you put load. 3. BREAD TOASTER / SANDWICH MAKER: Clean it after every use by brush, as cockroach and flies get attracted if not clean. Do not use any poison material inside it. Adjust the thermostat for proper heat. 4. WET GRINDER: Thoroughly clean the stones and tub after every use. Tighten the belts periodically and grease the bearings. Do not pour water outside the body, as there is chance of water going inside the motor. 5. FRIDGE: Clean your fridge at-least once in a fortnight. Defrost it once in a month. Control the inside temperature according to the prevailing climate. Switch off the fridge and Keep the door of the fridge open When going out of town for a long period.. Use good quality stabilizers.

HOME APPLIANCES: 1. WASHING MACHINE: Clean the wash tub after every wash. Do not use acid inside the wash tub. Remove the output pipes and impellers and clean it periodically.
